2006 Australian Songwriter Awards

Jillian Jake was a special guest at this years 2006 Australian Songwriter Awards
held in Sydney, and who else would you like to party with than
Mental As Anything's Martin and Greedy and friend Renee.

Austral Blues - Montoille, France

Director's comment: This is Fred (centre) with his friends
Maxime (left) and Stephane..together they have put a radio show dedicated to
Australian Blues called "Austral Blues". Another great Australian Blues &
Roots show but the twist being this show is produced and aired in Montoille
France on F.A.V. 91.3FM and all songs are taken from the BAR cds or the

We were lucky enough to meet the fabulous guys from the Music Maker Foundation - here we have Jillian jamming with Cool John Ferguson - these guys were awesome

On the left here we have Adolphus Bell with a couple of Australian fans who came over to the Bay FM radio station after the Music Makers on air interview and presented Adolphus with a miniature Australian Boomerang - Adolphus is sure to get himself a kangaroo now! He was thrilled and warmly touched.

I was very honoured recently to be nominated for the Rudy Brandsma Award
from the Australian Songwriting Association and although I didn't win, a hug
from legendary songwriter Doc Neeson makes you feel like you have won,
thanks Doc.
